Those onions are slightly sweet and perfectly caramelized. They are the perfect garnish for your burgers or even to add a bit of color to your avocado toasts.

  3. 2/3 cup of red wine
  4. 2 tbsp of maple syrup
  5. 1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce , optional

  1. Cut the onion in half, then slice thinly to about 3 mm.
  2. In a cold pan, put the onion and the oil and cover with a lid .
  3. Open the fire to medium-low heat and stir from time to time so the onions don't burn in the bottom of the pan.

  5. Cook until all the wine is evaporated.
